NEPO BABIES HIT BACK!

Celebs come out swinging at suggestions they've only made it big in Hollywood because of who their parents are
NEPO BABIES HIT BACK!

New York Magazine caused a stir recently with its controversial feature about nepotism in the entertainment world. Announcing there's a "nepo-baby boom" in Hollywood right now, the publication called out stars such as Dakota Johnson, Zoe Kravitz and Lily-Rose Depp for getting a boost in the entertainment biz thanks to their A-list mums and dads.

But a string of famous offspring have slammed the unflattering label, with Jamie Lee Curtis declaring, "The current conversation about nepo babies is just designed to try to diminish and denigrate and hurt."

The Halloween Ends star, 64, dubbed herself an "OG nepo baby" on social media while addressing the scandal and seems fed-up with the stigma. "I have been a professional actress since I was 19 years old... I've never understood, nor will I, what qualities got me hired that day, but since my first two lines on Quincy as a contract player... there's not a day in my professional life that goes by without my being reminded that I am the daughter of movie stars."

The model and Mrs Justin Bieber showed where she stands on the issue by wearing a tee emblazoned with "nepo baby" when she stepped out in LA this month.
